Degree

B.S. in Construction Engineering and Management

Why did you choose Virginia Tech?

"I chose Virginia Tech as it seemed like a great option to get a quality education that will actually have a meaningful impact in my future endeavors."

Why did you choose Construction Engineering and Management (CEM)?

"I chose the CEM degree program due to its versatility. The ability to be able to work on a project hands-on and oversee all the factors that contribute to the successful delivery of a project was exciting to me. I love working hands-on and being able to sort through all the information to ensure things are done correctly and on time, this is a great way to do so."

Career Goals

"My current goal is to work for a company that cares about their finished project, while I aimed for vertical construction, horizontal might be in my future, yet that is still subject to change, at the end of the day I want to make a difference in the ways I am best suited for."

What would you tell students who are interested in joining the Myers-Lawson School of Construction (MLSoC)?

"It is a great choice, you can do anything with this degree. The staff and professors are super friendly and want you to succeed and you will make life-long bonds with your fellow classmates as you work on a team-based project covering all of what you have learned. It is well worth it too as you are also getting a quality education that can apply to many areas of construction and life in general."
