Here at the Myers-Lawson School of Construction, we strive to push boundaries, spearhead innovative research, and empower the next generation of construction leaders. Working closely with the industry and global academic partners, we are looking to add more top-caliber talent to our team.

Professor of Practice (Open Rank)

The successful candidate will be required to teach 3-4 courses per semester in the Department of Building Construction, develop meaningful relationships with industry, and provide service to the School and the broader AEC industry.  This position requires occasional travel to attend outreach events, conferences and/or other professional meetings.

Assistant Professor of Building Construction

We are seeking candidates motivated to contribute to a collegial, interdisciplinary community with a strong tradition of both fundamental and applied research that aligns with recent initiatives at Virginia Tech including a campus-wide, multi-disciplinary focus on Intelligent Infrastructure for Human-Centered Communities as well as a focus on Industry 4.0 for Construction.
