Degree

B.S. in Construction Engineering and Management

Why did you choose Virginia Tech?

"I chose Virginia Tech because of the credibility and reputation of the College of Engineering and the seasons that Blacksburg experiences."

Why did you choose Construction Engineering and Management (CEM)?

"I chose CEM because I wanted a general engineering discipline that I could apply to any field. What specifically drew me to CEM was that you can be involved with every step of a project from start to finish and I would still be able to get the engineer title."

Career Goals

"I want to receive my PE (Professional Engineer License) and GC (General Contractor) licenses as well as someday attaining a master's in engineering so I can pursue engineering administration. "

What would you tell students who are interested in joining the Myers-Lawson School of Construction (MLSoC)?

"Joining MLSoC is like joining a big family, all the faculty, staff, students, and alumni are here to support you throughout your college career and onward. I would also say to take some time to visit around and talk with the advisors and professors to gain their perspective as well. "
