Why did you choose Virginia Tech?
"I chose Virginia Tech for the engineering and military programs. The second I got to campus I knew this was going to be home. The atmosphere of Virginia Tech is unmatched and truly has something for everyone."
Why did you choose Construction Engineering and Management (CEM)?
"I chose CEM because I have always been fascinated with the process of construction. Being able to build something from nothing and see it come to life is incredibly rewarding. I am drawn to technical problem-solving while applying engineering principles."
Career Goals
"I will be commissioning into the United States Air Force in May 2025 and attending Undergraduate Helicopter Training to become a pilot. After my years of service, I would like to work as a pilot for a construction company to combine both of my interests and make the most out of my skills."
What would you tell students who are interested in joining the Myers-Lawson School of Construction (MLSoC)?
"The MLSoC community is a big family that made me feel welcomed from the start. The professors and advisors always have your best interests at heart and put their all into work. It is a unique experience to be part of CEM and the environment is unmatched."
