B.S. in Construction Engineering and Management

Why did you choose Virginia Tech?

"I chose Virginia Tech for its global name recognition. Virginia Tech's engineering excellence is attached to its name, which impresses employers who may see it on a resume. It also does not hurt that it sits on a beautiful campus that makes you feel at home."

Why did you choose Construction Engineering and Management (CEM)?

"I chose CEM because I knew I wanted to go into engineering and the aspect of construction drew me in. I liked the idea of having smaller class sizes and the opportunity to get to know everyone. It was also appealing to see that all graduates were able to seek employment and have jobs lined up before they even graduated."

Career Goals

"My main goal is to eventually progress to project manager and be in charge of my own project from start to finish."

What would you tell students who are interested in joining the Myers-Lawson School of Construction (MLSoC)?

"If you are interested in joining MLSoC, do it! It is a great program with multiple different career options and opportunities."
