Why did you choose Virginia Tech?
"My older sister was a student at Virginia Tech and was also a Hokie ambassador. She gave my family a tour in the fall of my junior year in high school. Walking around, I just absolutely fell in love with the campus and couldn’t imagine myself anywhere else."
"Why did you choose Building Construction (BC)?
"I grew up watching HGTV with my mom. It took me some time, but I ultimately realized that I wasn’t fascinated with the design process. I was really fascinated with the construction process and all that it involved, so that’s what led me to pursue a degree in building construction."
Career Goals
"My ultimate goal is to become a commercial construction project manager. After graduation in the spring of 2025, I’ll be working as a field engineer with Hensel Phelps.."
What would you tell students who are interested in joining the Myers-Lawson School of Construction (MLSoC)?
"It is the best decision I ever made. There are so many opportunities within construction. The industry is really looking for qualified professionals and there’s such a high demand for construction majors. The job outlook is amazing!"
