Why did you choose Virginia Tech?
"I chose Virginia Tech because of the community and its proximity to my hometown. Growing up, Virginia Tech was always 'the school in Blacksburg' and when I was looking for colleges this was my number one school. When I first came to college I was looking for chemistry. While that path didn't work out, I believe that choosing this program was one of the best decisions I've ever made."
Why did you choose Building Construction (BC)?
"I chose Building Construction because I found that it gave me the flexibility to create my own path and grow not only in my career but also as a person."
Career Goals
"I would like to eventually work as a project manager in a commercial or heavy civil company or to be involved in virtual design in construction (VDC) work."
What would you tell students who are interested in joining the Myers-Lawson School of Construction (MLSoC)?
"I would tell students interested in joining MLSoC to research and investigate the different opportunities within the school and follow what interests them."
