Responsibilities

Lisa Cash serves as the Business Manager for the Myers-Lawson School of Construction. She leads the finance team for the school which is responsible for all financial and human resource transactions including graduate contracts, graduate tuition awards, accounts payable and receivable, payroll and labor distribution, hiring and onboarding, monitoring and reconciliation of State Educations and General (E&G) funds, Virginia Tech Foundation and Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) funds, procurement and travel.

Background

Lisa joined Virginia Tech in 2000 and most recently served as Administrative Assistant for the Department of Building Construction before joining the Myers-Lawson School of Construction in her current role. Her prior experience includes serving as an Accounts Payable Technician for four years at Old Dominion University Research Foundation.
