Degree

B.S. in Construction Engineering and Management

Why did you choose Construction Engineering and Management (CEM)?

"I chose construction engineering and management because I’ve always been interested in how projects come together and the teamwork behind them. CEM lets me combine problem-solving with leadership and learn how to turn ideas into real buildings. I also liked that it’s an engineering degree, so I can work toward becoming a Professional Engineer one day."

Career Goals

"I want to work in real estate development or as an owner’s rep, overseeing projects from start to finish while working with general contractors."

What would you tell students who are interested in joining the Myers-Lawson School of Construction (MLSoC)?

"MLSoC gives you real experience early on and connects you with people who know the industry. It’s a great place to learn, get involved, and figure out where you want to take your career."
