John Angle

Background

John Angle is currently the Senior VP of Operations for W. M. Jordan Company, overseeing construction operations for all regions of the company throughout Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. W. M. Jordan Company's customers rely on Angle to deliver complex projects with ease. He is adept at streamlining operations, developing and implementing effective policies, and motivating teams. He mentors junior staff, helping them develop effective management processes and leadership skills. In every aspect of his work, Angle seeks to build and maintain client satisfaction through strong relationships and careful attention to detail.

Angle has managed the construction of many prominent projects including the Hampton Roads Convention Center, Riverside Regional Medical Center’s Patient Pavilion and addition, and Virginia Tech’s Indoor Athletic Training Facility, to name a few. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Virginia Tech, class of 1991, and professional certifications in sustainable design and construction, project management, and healthcare construction. Angle completed the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business Advanced Management Program. He is a member of the Hampton Roads CIVIC Leadership Institute.

Angle lends his time and talent to the community through his work as Chair of the Building Construction Committee on the Industry Advisory Board for the Myers-Lawson School of Construction at Virginia Tech, on the Executive Board and Finance Committee for the Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce, and on the Executive Board for the CIVIC Leadership Institute. His “free time” is spent with his wife of 31 years, three children, two labradors, and boating on the Chesapeake Bay.
