Kim Clifton

Kim Clifton serves as the Fiscal Technician for the Myers-Lawson School of Construction.  She is the school's resource for any questions about financial matters. She processes travel and personal reimbursements, places and receives orders, organizes and maintains documentation for audit purposes, processes transfers from the Virginia Tech Foundation, enters Cashnet transactions, and manages department keys and assignments, wages, and financial reconciliations. She also serves as a back-up for student-wage employee hires.

Kim is attending classes for the Virginia Tech Fiscal Support Certificate Program.

Kim joined Virginia Tech in 2010 at the former Bioinformatics Institute and most recently served as an Administrative Assistant/Fiscal Technician for Biological Sciences before joining the MLSoC in her current role as a Fiscal Technician in 2024.  Her prior experience includes working as an Administrative Assistant for the Radford University Carilion School of Nursing and Human Resources Assistant for America Online/Time Warner.
